As a leave NYC after an incredibly successful and trip with an outstanding team of leaders, I wanted to share a Simply Saying message that I have come to embrace and appreciate.

It's Simply This:

“Your brand isn’t just your business card. It’s how you lead under pressure, how you resolve conflict, how you treat people when no one’s looking. It’s your presence, your poise, your integrity — on the record and off the radar.”

In rooms seen and unseen, your character is doing the talking. Make sure it speaks of integrity, wisdom, and worth.

The incredible thought and business leaders that the team and I were able to interface with this week examined our (my)character, integrity, stewardship, emotional intelligence, business acumen, relationships, and business and personal sustainability.

Brands, business leaders, potential business partners, and others are watching how we maneuver about the world. The attention that we draw, as leaders, should only come from a place of honor, integrity, truth, impeccable character, and God’s purpose. Anything less will simply be reduced to unfettered and meaningless actions!

They’re watching—even when you think they’re not. The first place an employer, brand, etc., examines is your social media. Ask yourself: “What am I putting down that they are picking up?” In other words: What Are They Seeing?

Hummmm?
